Ivy Richardson
Co-owner & Head Coach

As the founder of the Red Girl Rising Movement Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to wellness through movement, Ivy has been instrumental in creating positive change within her community. She also spearheads Team 700, British Columbia's first Indigenous youth boxing team, fostering strength and growth among the next generation. Additionally, Ivy chairs Boxing BC’s Indigenous committee which is committed to increasing Indigenous boxing participation at all levels of the sport and recently became an ambassador for lululemon.

With a competitive boxing background and a commitment to education and her work, Ivy draws upon her diverse experiences to shape her role as a community builder. Recognizing the transformative power of movement, she endeavors to establish a community centered on the principles of "living every day like a ceremony." Ivy is dedicated to offering accessible, safe, and empowering movement initiatives to individuals and communities that uplift and amplify their inner strength.

Aubrey Morrow
Co-owner & Head Coach

Aubrey brings many gifts to his work including his education, entrepreneurial work and competitive boxing background. He is a well accomplished athlete with an impressive undefeated record as an amateur boxer, later turning professional and achieving an 80% knockout rate. Aubrey brings a wealth of experience and skill to his work. As an athlete and a coach with 20 years of boxing expertise, Aubrey is passionate about the transformative power of the sweet science.

As the competitive head coach for Team 700, British Columbia’s first Indigenous youth boxing team, he plays a vital role in fostering strength, growth and a sense of community among the next generation. Aubrey is dedicated to creating greatness not only inside the ring but also in the lives of those he influences. With his knowledge and belief in the positive impact of boxing. Aubrey seeks to inspire and empower others to reach their full potential, both as athletes and individuals outside of the sport.

Jessica Toor
Rise & Rumble Coach

Born and raised in Nanaimo, Jessica discovered her love for boxing when she joined the Nanaimo Boxing Club back in 2008. Alongside her dedication to boxing, she's built a career as a dental hygienist, where she advocates for the importance of oral health. One of Jessica's greatest joys is finding ways to make working out empowering and fun, inspiring others to embrace an active lifestyle.

Courtney Tizya
Rest & Recovery Teacher

Courtney is a yukon transplant to Vancouver Island. She is pleased to live and work on Snuneymuxw territory where, during the daytime, she works in advocacy- a role she is passionate about. Courtney takes strengths-based and trauma-informed approaches to all her passions, including yoga. Courtney has been practicing various forms of yoga for more than half her life and has her 200 hour yoga certification for both vinyasa (flow) and yin yoga. She loves the transformative capacities of yoga and believes it should be accessible to everyone.
